Causal Analysis of Child Abuse

More children (age four and younger) die from child abuse than any other single leading cause of death for infants and young children. (http://www.childhelpusa.com/) Abuse has many forms. It can be physical, psychological, verbal, and can even take the form of neglect. Whether or not the abuse is intended, over four million cases are reported each year, or on a daily average, every ten seconds. (http://www.childhelpusa.com/)

Yet the question remains, what causes child abuse? According to Mom's and Dad's Magazine (http://www.zipmall.com/moms-causes.htm/) teen parenting is a leading cause. With the multitudes of stresses put on teen parents, many turn their frustration towards their children. These stresses include unwanted pregnancy, birth defects, financial difficulties, insufficient parenting skills, single parenting, and depression.
