When Arthur(Boo)Radley was younger he got into some trouble involved with a rowdy group of kids from Old Sarum. One night they resisterd arrest and was locked up in the courthouse's outhouse for the night.Later Arthur(Boo)Radley's father took him home instead of sending him to get the second best education in the country.Boo was not seen for fifteen years. Rumor had it that while Boo Radley's father was clipping the newspaper Boo stabbed him in the leg. And then was locked in the court house and stayed for years till he returned home again. Boo being the main topic of gossip by the neighbors; Jem, Dill and Scout were facinated by him. THey started to tell children he only came out at night and eats cats. When Boo starts leaving gifts in the knothole in the oak tree. Jem and Scout ebgin to like him till Nathen, Boo Radley's brother cements the tree in. Boo is a smart child that was emotionally ruined by his father's ways. Boo Radley hadn't came out of his house no matter what the children tried to do, nothing would budge him, not until Bob Ewell comes into the story. Boo Radley ends up saving tem from what he trys to do.
