I'd like to write a paper on the topics for this week, and mainly about the "Cold War", which outlines the happenings of the First year of the Cold War.
The beginning of the Cold War is looked upon as the Yalta conference during which the "Big Three" (which consisted of Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill) met in Crimea at the Livadia Palace on the Black Sea. The conference lasted from February 4th to 11th, 1945. During this period, a lot of decisions were made. Roosevelt promised to withdraw all U.S. troops from Europe in 2 years. They agreed on the creation of the United Nations, but Stalin was to get two extra seats for USSR. Korea was divided.
