Animal Farm

Summary: A book review of Animal Farm written by George Orwell
Animal Farm is a satire about the Russian Revolution. In order to make fun of it George Orwell uses animals and their actions. I believe that he is trying to inform his readers of how corrupted this place is. At first they are doing all right until one type decides that they are smarter than all of the others. This is what eventually leads to their destruction.

This book starts out on a farm in England November of 1043. Mr. Jones, of the Manor farm, was working his animals fairly hard. He was also not very shy to shorten their food supply in order to save himself money. As you can probably imagine, the animals didn't like it very much. However, they had no idea that they could change it all by themselves. This is where old Major comes into the picture.
