Summary: This paper explains how teen suicide is a problem in society and things should be done to help prevent it and educate about it.
Today seemed to be a normal day for Steve. He went to school and like usual sat in the back of class quietly doing his work. At lunch he sat with his friends and goofed around like usual. After school he went home and let himself in. Usually he would watch television or make himself a snack, but today instead, he got into the cabinet and pulled out his father's gun. He sat down on the couch and shot himself in the head. This may sound like a horror story, but unfortunately, teen suicide is an all too common occurrence in the United States. Each year thousands of teens take their lives. Suicide is sad and tragic, but also, preventable. If people just knew what to look for and what to do about it, these thousands of young lives could be saved
