Summary: Rosa Parks as a hero today.
    A person who I consider a hero is Rosa Parks.  She lived during the time when our country was filed with hatred, discrimination, and racism, simply because we were not accustomed to the differences between us but instead afraid and ignorant.  In my eyes I see her as a hero because she accomplished something everyone claims they do or would like to.  Mrs. Parks stood up for what she believed was right, knowing there would be severe penalties for doing so.  This took a lot of guts, especially in a time where if you weren't white you could be thrown in jail or harmed for doing next to nothing.  When told to give up her seat on a bus for a white person, she wouldn't even so much as flinch despite the several warnings given to her as to what...
