Summary:   This essay entails the work that was done in the Manhattan Project.  It mainly focuses on the preparations and the work of the diverse group of scientists who came up with the idea.


In the vast history of science in the United States of America, there have been many great ideas and inventions. From the inventions of Thomas Edison to the ideas of Benjamin Franklin to the discoveries of Alexander Graham Bell, the United States and the people of the world have prospered greatly due to the fact that these people have made magnificent breakthroughs in the world. All of these discoveries have been individual, without the help of any others. If one thinks about it, it would almost seem more inspiring and more brilliant if a pair or group of people could work together to create something. Then one thinks what could possibly make this even better...perhaps if it was an invention that could preserve a people's way of life. In the 1940's, across the United States.....
