Analysis of the Role of an Administrator/Purchasing in a School District

The main role of the purchasing group is to support the teachers and other educational personnel of the school district. The main goal of this group is the provision of quality materials, supplies, and the equipment of the right quantity in a timely fashion. In the following paragraphs, I will be focusing on the purchasing powers and responsibility, bidding, and inventory control.

There are three types of purchasing powers that the administrater must be aware. The first type of purchasing authority that may be given is granted by the state. As we learned in earlier chapters, the state gives or delegates power to its local school districts. The same works with purchasing.
