Summary:   About William S. Burroughs


William S. Burroughs was born on February 5, 1914. His grandfather had invented the modern adding machine. In 1950 William had left his town to escape from the conditions as a homosexual and a "Junky" or a drug user. After William Burroughs had left his town he had began writing. After writing many books such as Junky, Queer, The Job and then traveling around the world he had settled in Lawrence, Kansas where he had passed away on August 2, 1997. This is an accomplished author that I thought I would enjoy very much he seemed interesting to read his literature. He was very intelligent and a creative writer. He had drawled me in by these characteristics.

William S. Burroughs had based many of his novels on his personal life and Films had influenced his writing also......
