Summary: Summary of Birds of Prey by J.A. Jance
The Starfire Breeze has always been a respectable Alaskan Cruise Ship.  The cruise ship sets sail from Seattle in early summer, and makes its way North along the Pacific Coast touring magnificent landforms and famous cities along the coastline of Canada and Alaska.  One of the passengers, J.P. Beaumont (known as "Beau"), an ex-homicide detective on the Seattle Police Force, is chaperoning his newlywed grandmother, Beverly, on her honeymoon.  Beau became a friend with Lars Jensen, his grandmother's husband, before Beverly even knew him.  They met at an AA meeting and gave each other sympathy for the loss of each other's wives.  During the cruise Beverly thought it might be awkward for Beau to sit with them and other newlyweds; so Beau reserved a seat in the main dining room.  Marc Alley and four friends (Margaret Featherman, Naomi Pepper, Sharon Carson...
