Summary: This essay is about how people are power-greedy and will do anything to be more powerful than the man sitting next to them.
  Why do countries fight? Why do families feud? Why do children bully each other? For power, the nectar of human life. People desire power, the power to control, the power to strike fear into people's hearts, the power to dominate. This feature comes as natural to us as falling asleep when you're tired or eating when you're hungry.

  Countries fight a lot. Right now as I'm writing this essay, public wars, such as the war in Iraq, and private wars, like drug or gang wars, are going on without stop. Why do they fight? They look for power. What could be better than owning oil fields to dominate the gas station prices or owning new and valuable territory that every country wants? That's why countries fight, so that they can expand new horizons for their empires.
