Benjamin Franklin

    Benjamin Franklin was one of the greatest statesman and inventors of all time.  He had a full and impressionable life, which set the scheme for present day living.  Franklin was born into a poor family, but through his dedication and many contributions to the field of politics and science, he will be immortalized as one of our greatest leaders.

    Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 17, 1706.  Ben's father high expectations for Ben to become a minister, so at the age of eight, he put him in grammar school.  Benjamin did well at reading and writing, but had a hard time learning arithmetic.  As a result, his father was forced to take him out of school at the age of ten because he could not afford to keep sending a child to.....
