Summary:   Analysis on Flannery O'Connor's writings.


    There were many things that were involved with Flannery O'Connor's writings.  There were many faults that many people had; she expresses these faults through her writings.  Some of the flaws that she expressed through her characters were gullibility and hypocrisy.  These are two big issues on which many people base major decisions of their lives.  Once we see these things in her characters, we realize and comprehend that we contain some of these same flaws.  She also expresses the extreme gullibility of women and how men deceive them continuously.  As the women show the gullible side in O'Connor's stories, men often show their hypocritical side by their actions being the complete opposite of their speeches.
