Athens and Sparta: a United States Comparison

Summary:   A comparison between Athens, Sparta, and the United States.


Athens, Sparta and the US have a lot in common and a lot of differences. The differences including the rights of women and their Education policies in Athens and Sparta made me decide to pick the US as the country I would rather live in. To me, the US has the perfect balance in most of the catagories including Education, Society and Culture. The society in Athens and Sparta included slaves and that is another reason why I would rather live in the US. My final reason is the Culture. Instead of just having a few cultures like in Athens or Sparta, the US has almost every culture imaginable. The US is fair and also strict on it's education system and is similar to both Athens and Sparta except you are not forced to take military.....
