Summary: Essay provides a review of the movie "Last of the Mohicans."
In the movie Last of the Mohicans, the characters Magua, Colonel Munro, and Hawkeye also known as Nathanial, possess different motives from each other. Each character has a different purpose in the movie and their own point-of-view. The Huron Indian, Magua is on the French side and fighting against the British or Colonel Munro and Nathanial. Although on the same side, Colonel Munro and Hawkeye have two different motives. Colonel Munro wishes to win the battle at fort William Henry and to protect his daughters Cora and Alice. On the other hand, Hawkeye's motive is to stay loyal to the British by helping Colonel Munro but also to protect his family and friends. Being on different sides and having distinct motives each character also has their own point-of-view.
