Summary: Essay is about a few of the characters who had the most impact in "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.
Every story or book has characters that impact the story. The impact may be good or bad. In Lord of the Flies there were many characters that had different opinions and views about living on the island. Some want to get off of the island more than others, and some want to enjoy the freedom and power of being stranded without any adults. The three characters in Lord of the Flies that had the most impact on the story are Ralph, Jack, and Simon.

First off, Ralph is a twelve year-old boy who tries to help the young group of boys stay civilized while on the island. Ralph represents leadership and civilized order.
