These topics of reform would be Civil Rights, Political Reform, Interstate Commerce, Women's Suffrage, Temperance, Helping the Needy, Exposing Corruption, and Regulation of Industry. Also, one man who helped the U.S. in this time of progression was a great reformer. That man would be President Theodore Roosevelt.

Civil Rights is and was a very important part of the U.S. It became more of an issue after the Civil War, and after the assassination of President Lincoln.
