Summary:   This essay is about Mark David Chapman and the death of John Lennon.


One of the most notorious assassinations in our history was the death of John Lennon by Mark David Chapman on December 8, 1980. Chapman was a depressed man who had mental problems and unfortunately John was the vent for his anger. John Lennon, member of the popular group, The Beatles, and a solo song artist influenced many people with his ideas. He had a wife and a son who loved him. John enjoyed being home with his son and taking care of him. He is still remembered today and his songs are continuously being played

On October 9, 1940 in England, John Lennon was born to Freddie and Julia Lennon. When John was young his father abandoned him and Julia. Julia, being a single mother wanted a new life. She wanted to get married again, but did.....
