Starting as a young inspiring author and photographer Eudora Welty lived her life through her writing. During her writing career Eudora wrote many novels, short stores and essays.

April 13 1909,Jackson, Mississippi, Eudora Ann Welty was born into a closely knit extended family. Feeling as if a close family was all that was needed, Welty's mother, a school teacher from West Virginia and her father, an insurance executive from Ohio gave their children a very sheltered life. "My mother could not help imposing herself between her children and whatever it was they might take it in mind to reach out for the world"she stood always reading to challenge the world in our place."(Eudora Welty) Welty said. Despite the sheltering her parents gave her, Welty lived a fairly average girls life. She enjoyed playing with her brothers Edward.....
