Summary: This essay compares and contrasts peer pressure in the book "The Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.
In many stories today there is a lot of talk about teens and peer pressure and also how teens deal with it. Today this can lead to suicide in many cases. Peer pressure was expressed in both stories. In some parts of the stories, the events that took place were the same and some were different. Peer pressure was expressed greatly in Lord of the Flies and in the Dead Poets' Society. These events in the stories related in many ways. They were related because the members of the groups used some of the same techniques to reach the goal the boys were trying to achieve.
