Summary: This is a literature analysis of "Adrian Mole" by Sue Townsend.
I shall be reviewing` The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 and 3/4' written by Sue Townsend. It was first published in 1982 by``Methuen London', but in 1992 was re-published by the` New Windmill Series'. I would say the book's genre is comedy. Nearly every entry made me laugh out loud.

The design of the cover is very eye catching and bright. The background looks like a diary with lines and dates on it. It also has doodles and tea stains. The title and author's name look hand-written. The blurb briefly describes what the book is about. It starts:

"Adrian Mole is suffering the traumas of first love, parental divorce and spots."

Adrian Mole thinks he is an intellectual. He is in love with the new girl, Pandora Braithwaite. The book tells the story of his teenage worries and problems, which are much as you would expect from...
