I shall be reviewing' The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 and 3/4' written by Sue Townsend. It was first published in 1982 by''Methuen London', but in 1992 was re-published by the' New Windmill Series'. I would say the book's genre is comedy. Nearly every entry made me laugh out loud.
The design of the cover is very eye catching and bright. The background looks like a diary with lines and dates on it. It also has doodles and tea stains. The title and author's name look hand-written. The blurb briefly describes what the book is about. It starts:
