A Lab on the Movie "Never Cry Wolf"

Summary:   The following is a lab on the movie "Never Cry Wolf."


This movie is about a scientist named Tyler who goes to the Arctic for six months to study whether or not the wolves there (Canis Lupus Arcticus) are responsible for killing off numerous caribou herds. If the wolves are responsible, they will have to be exterminated because of the Inuit Tribes that depend on the caribou. With the help of two Inuit Indians, Utek and Mike, he learns very valuable information about the wolves and what they are actually eating.

PROBLEM: Are wolves responsible for killing off caribou herds and should the wolves therefore be exterminated"

HYPOTHESIS: No, all wolves should not be exterminated, because that would upset the balance of nature. However, I think that the wolf population should be controlled so that the caribou are not killed off.
