Okonkwo, the main character, and his family have many instances relating with the Oracle of the Hills and the Caves, which makes important decisions. Therefore, in the novel, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, the Oracle is supreme and no matter his decision good or bad, his decision is final, and the people will obey.
