Several heroes and idols who we admire today have sought revenge on a friend, relative, or enemy. When Patroclus was slain by the Trojan commander, Hector, was it crucial for Achilles, dearest friend of Patroclus, to return and slaughter him in place of his the life of his beloved friend? There must be a more logical and beneficial way than revenge. Whether revenge is just a mean prank or leads to death, it should be avoided.
