I'm sure that everyone in this room will agree that few things are more horrifying than being sent to death row for a crime that you did not commit. In America we are all taught that we are the best government, democracy, and super power in the world. While I am not saying this is a false statement, there are, unfortunately, many flaws in our system. The death penalty is one of the biggest flaws in our society, and for many factual, hypothetical, and purely logical reasons. As scary as the thought of it is, most of us live under a false sense of security when it comes to our freedoms. In 1992, two lawyers named Barry Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld founded a non-profit organization called the Innocence Project. The Innocence project uses DNA testing.....
