The human genome project is the process of scientifically discovering the sequence of genes that make up the entire human genetic code (Human Genome).Located in the DNA, is the genetic information found in each human cell of the body. Through the process of sequencing, the human genome project has identified all of the genes of the human cell, and has also mapped the specific location of these genes (Cohen 222). The great purpose of the human genome project is to prevent diseases and genetic disorders and to seek a new science in which will improve these circumstances.
