There are people we run into every day, not knowing that they might not be as fortunate as us. In the United States there are millions of people who are forced to get help with providing for themselves or their families. The type of help I am referring to is welfare. Welfare is a government program that provides money, food, housing, medical care, and other necessities that people need in order to survive. There are two opposing sides to the idea of welfare; many people like the thought of giving those in need some help, but other groups of people are trying to get welfare thrown out of our government.
