Wuji (people) (勿吉), referring to an ancient ethnic group in Manchuria. "Wuji" is the modern pronunciation of the Chinese characters "勿吉" which was written in history records. The ancient pronunciation was Moji (or Merjie).

Wuji (philosophy) (無極), a concept in Chinese philosophy and Taoism meaning "the void", as opposed to Taiji (太極), "the Ultimate". It is closely related to the Taoist concept of Wu wei.
