Élysée Treaty

Another was a treaty signed in 1946 between the post-war states of Yugoslavia and Albania. The treaty was an economic agreement which resulted in customs union. Some Albanians immigrated into Kosovo during this period. The United Kingdom and Tonga also signed a series of Treaties of Friendship in the late nineteenth century, ultimately establishing Tonga's status as a British protectorate. Samoa has the distinction of being the only country which New Zealand has a Treaty of Friendship with.
