Cleopatra (in Greek, Κλεοπάτρα) is a name given to several historical and mythological figures, especially from ancient Greek and Hellenistic Royalty. The name Cleopatra means glory of her father. It derives from the Greek words Κλέος (=glory) and Πατρός, genitive case of the word Πατήρ (=father). Its masculine form is ΚλεόπατροςCleopatros.
