Questions related to searching and browsing content on BookRags:
There are many ways to search on BookRags. Below are a few ways to find better results while searching. 1) Perhaps the most effective way is to use the drop down menu on each page. When performing a search on over 4 million pages, the results can be overwhelming. To help reduce the clutter, a search can be narrowed easily prior to the search taking place. By using the drop down on the top of every page it is possible to target the search ahead of time.
2) Another way to search for results is to do a search without any upfront filtering. After the results are received, the tabs, pictured below, can be used to naturally filter the content into more precise pockets.
3) A final way to search is to fill out a search without any upfront filtering. After the results are received, the side navigation, pictured below, can be used to naturally filter the content into more precise pockets. The advantage of the side navigation is that multiple sections can be screened together. For example, if both Criticisms AND Encyclopedia results were desired in the results, both could be selected together. In addition, the side navigation allows for other tweaks to search results including sorting by free or pay content, etc. ![]()
