Towards the end of 1971 was published the third volume, covering the drawings, of the Ernst Barlach. Werkverzeichnis.¹ Thus was completed the definitive catalogue of the visual works, compiled by the artist's friend Friedrich Schult, which has appeared over a period of thirteen years.
