Fantasy writer Tad Williams has travelled a very colorful career path on his way to--and in addition to--becoming a successful author of novels for fans of imaginative fiction. Singing in a rock band, teaching school, working on the crew of both theatre and television productions, designing manuals for the U.S. military: the wide-ranging interests and talents Williams developed from these varied pursuits now enrich his fictional worlds. With such popular novel series as "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" and "Otherland" to his credit, Williams has also found time to write comic books and film and television scripts, as well as serve as co-founder of an interactive television company.
