Although most basketball players start playing at an early age, Patrick Ewing began playing basketball in high school. Amazingly, by the time he reached his senior year, he had become the best high school player in the country. Overcoming reading and speech problems, Ewing became a solid student and earned his degree from Georgetown University, where he also became the most dominating college basketball player in the United States. Having estabished himself as one of the NBA's 50 All-Time Greatest Players, Ewing has only one major basketball goal he hopes to achieve: winning an NBA world championship.
