Olga Orozco is recognized as one of the greatest women poets in twentieth-century Spanish American literature. She has written nine volumes of poetry, two works in prose, and one play. Her books have reached high sales numbers and have been read and studied extensively not only in Argentina, her place of birth, but in the United States and Europe as well.
