Monica Seles is a fantastic tennis player who hits the ball as hard as any woman in history. She is also famous for the grunts she makes when she swings that seem to make the ball go even faster. Seles is the number-one ranked woman tennis player in the world. She has won nine of tennis's Grand Slam tournaments--the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open. Unstoppable on the court, Seles suffered one of the most tragic injuries in sports history when she was attacked by a man with a knife during a tournament. She returned after a two-and-one-half year layoff to once again established herself as one of the best players in the world.
