Seles is the number-one ranked woman tennis player in the world. She has won nine of tennis's Grand Slam tournaments--the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open. Unstoppable on the court, Seles suffered one of the most tragic injuries in sports history when she was attacked by a man with a knife during a tournament. She returned after a two-and-one-half year layoff to once again established herself as one of the best players in the world.
