“Willing” is a story by Lorrie Moore. It was originally published in the New Yorker in 1990. In 1998, it was re-published as part of Moore’s story collection Birds of America. The story follows Sidra, a woman in her late thirties who has had a fairly successful career as a Hollywood film actress.
