Jenny Marielle Pettersson (born November 5, 1975), professionally known as Velvet is a Swedish pop singer.

Discography

In 2005 Velvet released her first single - a cover version of "Rock Down To (Electric Avenue)", which became a big hit in Sweden and internationally. Followed by the minor-success song "Don't Stop Moving" in 2006 Velvet released her third single - "Mi Amore", which became a big hit in several European countries, including Sweden, Poland and Bulgaria. Later in 2006 she released her debut album, called Finally. A fourth single was released in 2007 named "Fix Me". The song is included on the re-release of her debut album. A fifth single was released in August 2007 named "Chemistry". Velvet's sound is comparable to that of fellow Euro acts Alcazar and September.
