The Wright Brothers Overview

The Wright brothers of Dayton, Ohio, had successfully entered into several businesses together. They had run a print shop and published a local newspaper. When the bicycle was invented and became popular, the brothers opened a bike shop where they sold and repaired bikes. But there was a yearning within both Orville and Wilbur that they wanted to do more with their skills and abilities. They became interested in aeronautics and decided that they would develop a flying machine. They believed that man could fly and that the invention of a flying machine would be a great advance for mankind.
