The Sense of an Ending Overview

The Sense of an Ending is at times the story of four friends attempting to make it through high school, both academically and socially and how this friendship both grows as fades as they grow older and further apart. It is at times a love story between Veronica Ford and the central character, weaving its way through the ups and downs of a somewhat verbally and intellectually abusive relationship. It is the story of Adrian Finn, a man driven by logic and his massive intellect, respected and admired by his counterparts and lovers. It is also the story of an old man, struggling to find the reasons behind his friend's suicide, reasons that lead him to an altogether shocking conclusion.
