The Rabbit Back Literature Society Overview

In the small Finnish town of Rabbit Back, only a select few children had been chosen to be a part of an exclusive author's group called The Rabbit Back Literature Society. The members were chosen by famous children's author, Laura White, who trained them and perpetuated their elite status. The group had only nine members until the present time when Ms. White selects substitute teacher, Ella Milana, for membership. Ella soon learns that the group is not what she had thought it was and that secrets and mysterious rituals play a big part in the society's organization. The book blends the past and present with realism and myths through the stories of the individual members and how their memories impact the present.
