Elise Hooper’s historical fiction novel The Other Alcott explores the true life of Abigail May Alcott Nieriker, the younger sister of the famous author Louisa May Alcott. Similarly to Louisa May Alcott’s famous novel Little Women, The Other Alcott is a story of a young ambitious woman pursuing her career at the end of the 19th century.
