The Orphan's Tale: A Novel Overview

The Orphan’s Tale, written by Pam Jenof, is the story of a homeless sixteen-year-old named Noa and a Jewish refugee named Astrid. The novel is set during World War II. Noa and Astrid are taking a big risk as they care for a Jewish baby boy named Theo. Ignoring the danger, they try to survive the Nazis by performing in a circus.
