“The Human Flies” is a historical detective novel by Hans Olav Lahlum, and is the first of his “K2 and Patricia Series”, which focuses on the efforts of Norwegian Inspector Detective Kolbein “K2” Kristiansen and his brilliant young amateur assistant, Patricia, to solve the murder of famed World War II Resistance fighter, Harald Olesen. "The Human Flies" deals with important and classic themes as K2 and Patricia undertake the investigation, which range from war, the past, and motives to reason and logic, and the concept of the locked room mystery.
