The Green Road Overview

The Green Road is Anne Enright's novel about an Irish family who comes together for one last Christmas in their childhood home. The novel won the Man Booker Prize for its complex portrayal of family dynamics. In the novel, the Madigan children, who have all gone away from home in an attempt to create separate lives, must come together once more before their mother, Rosaleen, sells their childhood home.
