The Dream Lover Overview

This historical fiction novel written by Elizabeth Berg tells the life of Aurore Dudevant, also known as George Sand, through a series of journal entries. The first person point of view journal entries skip back and forth between various states of Aurore's life from beginning to very end. While she hobnobs with people like Liszt and Chopin while searching for love and working for success, she eventually realizes that the best kind of love is the kind she has for her grandchildren.
