"The Days of the Phoenix" is a 2001 single released by AFI. It contains two songs from The Art of Drowning and one previously unreleased track, "A Winter's Tale." Only 500 copies of this EP were released, making "A Winter's Tale" very rare; however, the song was later released on the AFI retrospective. The band made a video for the song "The Days of the Phoenix". The video was shot in 14 Below, a music venue in California, by Marc Webb.
