The Banner is a musical group from New Jersey with influences that range from late '80s hardcore punk and punk rock to heavy metal and "NYHC"-style metalcore. The Banner broke up for a brief time in 2006 before reuniting with (now estranged) founding member Garrett Defalco. The band is currently writing their next album, Frailty: The Hellbound Heart, which is to be recorded and produced at the MachineShop studio in Hoboken, New Jersey and released on Ferret Music.
