Plot Summary

"Tell the Wolves I'm Home" is a young adult novel by Carol Rifka Brunt, which deals with the struggles of fourteen year-old June Elbus to deal with the death of her Uncle Finn from AIDS.

June is a shy girl, who is average and doesn't think of herself as pretty. She has average grades and an average life that is without real complications. But one extraordinary thing she has is a strong relationship with her uncle, Finn, who is dying of AIDS, and who is working on a portrait of June and her sister, Greta. Greta, unlike June, is beautiful, very talented, and has lots of friends. The two sisters are not very close, though they once were. There is no love lost between June's mother, and her brother Finn, either. At Finn's funeral, June sees a man named Toby, Finn's boyfriend. She and Toby begin speaking against...
